I stopped by to have a look at the super chic new Liz O’Brien digs. The new space provides the perfect backdrop for some really spectacular pieces. I totally resonate with O’Brien’s aesthetic and often turn to her when looking for something special.
I’ve been eyeing the super chic “Jansen-style” octagonal dining table (above) in polished gun metal with gold and accents and a smoky glass top by Karl Springer – it seats eight quite easily and would add a sophisticated sensibility to any dining room.
The Frances Elkins loop chairs are another one of my favorites – (I have a set in my own dining room/library) The Tony Duquette inspired rock crystal votive candle holders (below) are truly magical and would make a lovely centerpiece as well as a fabulous holiday gift.
Of note also is the glorious Bagues chandelier (below) in carved wood and painted tole with custom silk shades lined in lavender.
Add to all of this some Fromental wallpaper and a fantastic carpet from Edward Fields or Doris Leslie Blau and one would have quite a nice practically instant dining room!
I’m sporting a black wide wale cotton corduroy jacket by Gucci, a Turnbull and Asser forest green micro check cotton french cuff shirt with contrast white collar, Seaman Schepps silver pearl cuff links with pale blue sapphires, window pane plaid wool pant in charcoals, greens and blues and silver chain link belt both by Gucci,Cobalt suede boots by Pierre Hardy.
